What We Coach

Mobility Training

This is a popular trend in the fitness world...Blah blah blah...Bottom line is, we are mammals. As such, we are supposed to be able to move. As a certified trainer for ground force methods and also certified in functional movement systems(fms)  I can not overstate the corrective nature of these methods. Its simple elegance will make moving better, so you can move better no matter what it is you are doing. This is why we do this stuff y'all.

Muscle Development

This is an often misunderstood term. Issues around size, density, facility, strength, appearance, functionality... All play a roll. Bottom line: lean tissue is what burns the most calories, protects joints and allows us to do so many other activities in our lives.

Macro Nutrition

We will talk about eating: we will talk about what I eat, what you eat, what your friends and family eat, what experts on the subject think, what we've read and "Learned" about food, etc.  Together we will create a plan based on your lifestyle and you will reap the benefits of learning about eating real food, real healthy food, real yummy food!

We, in the shadow of Mount Tahoma, are fortunate to belong to such a rich and diverse environment. We believe this makes us stronger and, as we each embrace one another, our community is stronger. We live on the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe and the Coastal Salish tribes. These indigenous people have been the stewards of these lands long before us and continue to do so today. We commit to recognizing this and these tribes have our gratitude.
We work closely with one of Washington's premier Physical Therapists Dr. Erik Waterland of Waterland Performance. We are located in the same building and often coordinate our efforts in helping folks recover from injuries or surgery and regain/increase their mobility and strength.
